Katayoun (Kati) Khodabakhshian

Advanced practice provider Kati Khodabakhshian is a board-certified acute care Nurse Practitioner who has practiced as a cardiology NP since 2021. Kati specializes in cardiology including general, interventional, structural and heart failure. Prior to that, Kati worked as a critical care and long term care Registered Nurse for 8 years.

Kati earned an associate degree in nursing at Lone Star College in 2013. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Walden University, finishing her Master’s degree program in 2021.

Throughout her career as a Registered Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner, Kati has focused on providing care for patients in a setting that makes patients feel comfortable and at ease. She strongly believes in collaboration within the entire caregiving team to make sure that all of the patient’s needs are appropriately addressed. She is also a strong believer in establishing good communication with the patient’s family/immediate caregivers.

Kati is married with a teenage daughter and her interests outside the practice include travel, family gatherings, going to movies, and taking care of her two dogs.
